Profile

Part-time opening at Turning Point based in Milford. Requires work with high school students and provides education for identified medical facilities in Kent and Sussex Counties. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in the related field and experience in human services, especially with adolescents. Experience in domestic violence or sexual assault is preferred. The Prevention Specialist must have excellent oral communication and presentation skills. Specialist must also have high-level computer skills and software experience. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the DELTA Prevention Specialist assists the DELTA coordinator in implementing prevention activities and programming. Through multi-faceted community engagement and prevention strategies, the program focuses on the prevention of teen dating violence.
