FT Domestic Violence Community Health Advocate

The Domestic Violence Community Health Advocate (DV-CHA) is a new full-time position at Turning Point. This position is an essential part of a collaborative statewide effort to address the need for accessible community-based health and safety services for victims of intimate partner violence. The DV-CHA will engage trauma-informed best practices and work directly with victims of intimate partner violence providing direct advocacy and support, safety planning, case management and connections to supportive services in the community. The DV-CHA will build capacity for connections to supportive services through increasing linkages to community health services. Travel required. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Human Services and experience and knowledge in advocacy and knowledge of community providers and resources.
