Volunteer Manager Jobs

A volunteer manager’s job involves the recruitment, assessment, training, and ongoing support of online volunteers; working with partner organizations to identify their needs; and being involved in the ongoing management of volunteers. A volunteer manager manages a marketing department to develop recruitment campaigns for volunteers’ key requirements. A volunteer manager is responsible for the coordination and brokerage of volunteering opportunities, as well as for reporting to internal and external stakeholders on project progress. A volunteer manager is also required to market opportunities to potential volunteers and develop a reporting process for volunteer involvement and progress. A volunteer manager provides social housing, community health and fitness facilities, development opportunities, and a range of children’s services.

A volunteer manager position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant job. A volunteer manager should have the initiative to solve problems, good oral and written communication skills, and flexibility regarding work hours. A volunteer manager must be IT literate and should have the ability to motivate and develop a team and deliver training sessions.
