Human Services Jobs

A human services professional provides intensive home-based family therapy to a small case load of four to six families. A human services professional should be dedicated, courteous, disciplined, and able to communicate well with others. A human services professional should exhibit high intensity, a strong commitment to treatment philosophies, be outcome-driven, strength-focused, and open to high levels of supervision. A human services professional has to work nontraditional hours. A human services professional should be understanding of extensive drive times. A human services professional should also have flexibility in scheduling to meet with families.

A master’s degree in a social service field (psychology, social work, marriage and family counseling, etc.) is strongly preferred with one year of experience in counseling. A candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a social service field with one year of experience counseling children and families may also be considered. A human services professional must have a vehicle to use for work purposes as well as liability insurance.
