The Jewish Board’s Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities.
The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, oversight of administrative processes, and clinical supervision of staff for the Program.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the functions that are essential to achieve the goals):
Provide individual supervision to social work staff.
Provide and supervise crisis management.
Provide clinical and administrative coverage of clinic.
Ensure compliance with Office of Mental Health (OMH) standards.
Manage client wait-list.
Provide direct services to limited caseload on an as needed basis
Other clinical and administrative duties, as assigned.
Must be able to work two evenings.
Must be well organized and responsible for multiple logs
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
Coordinate and oversee admissions process in accordance with all relevant intake criteria and assign clients for treatment
Monitor program for continued improvement including OMH QI projects
Responsible for Incident Reporting
Two years of supervisory experience is preferred
Strong clinical group, family and individual intervention skills required
Knowledge of other than English language (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Hebrew) is a plus
Possession of CASAC and/or SIFI is a plus
Must provide culturally competent treatment and demonstrate cultural
