Position Summary : Employee is responsible in identifying\/supervising a patient\u2019s location at all times. Is responsible to ensure that a patient is free from harm to self, other patients and staff. Provides an effective and positive role model and provides constructive feedback to patients. As an active part of the treatment team, assists patients by providing continuous client care, supervision, interaction and role modeling. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED: Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Human Services field preferred License: N\/A Experience: Education, Associate Degree, Bachelors preferred \u00a0Field of Study: Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or direct behavioral health experience 1-2 years BLS - Basic Life Support \/ CPR Additional Requirements: Ability to work with adult\/geriatric populations as demonstrated through educational accomplishment or work experience. A working knowledge of JCAHO, ODMH, and patient rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to direct patient care. Demonstrates a strong interest in providing therapeutic care for patients\/clients with mental illness and\/or behavioral disorders. Responsible role model with pleasant personality and neat appearance, emotionally mature, and practices good communication skills \u2013 both verbal and written.
