Position Summary
We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Mediabrands Society team as an Community Manager. In this role you will assist in the community management process for our top clients and help take community management to the next level. As a Community Manager you will be the lead voice of the brand across a variety of a brand’s owned channels. You will partner with strategists, creative directors, and account teams to come up with the best content to engage consumers on a day-to-day basis throughout the year. This entry-level opportunity will kick-start your career in media and provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands.
Essential Functions
Guide communities on account(s) with confidence
Derive insights from social media listening and monitoring and provide to various teams
Create and write social media content such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the next new thing.
Identify trends and opportunities for the brand based on interactions with the community
Keep abreast of client and category objectives, trends, talent, competitive listening, and target mindset
Identify and win new opportunities with existing clients
Utilize social media tools to monitor conversations and manage content
Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree or work related experience
Work Experience:
Experience in managing a brand’s owned channels and communities
Previous experience in social media a plus
Skills:
Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for building and growing an account and an agency
Work nimbleness and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a timely fashion
Sound knowledge and interest in digital and social media
Willingness to work off-hours or holidays on occasion
Evidence of understanding the inner-workings of an automotive OEM
