Regional Executive Director Jobs description

A regional executive director establishes and maintains local infrastructure to meet regional goals. A regional executive director manages a regional staff primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of high-quality program execution as well as fund development. A regional executive director establishes and strengthens partnerships with senior-level community partners, including business leaders, local community organizations, and government officials. A regional executive director serves as an ambassador within the community. A regional executive director informs and advances public policy initiatives for the region. A regional executive director works closely with the executive director and staff to ensure successful development and implementation of annual operating plans, convening board meetings and stewarding staff professional development and board development plans. A regional executive director, in coordination with the operations manager, ensures the effective implementation of organizational systems that include grant tracking, financial tracking (including cash flow analysis and budget management), and project progress reports.

A regional executive director position requires a bachelor’s degree with experience in managing a highly capable team using outcomes measurement and goal setting. A regional executive director should have skill in oral and written communications, including negotiations. A regional executive director should also have knowledge of generally accepted computer software related to business management systems, including Internet-related activities.
